Essex Realty Group helped broker the sale of 19653 South Edinburgh Lane in Frankfort for $1,550,000 after fielding multiple offers.
The sales price represents the highest price per unit ever recorded for an apartment property of at least six units in Frankfort, which is 37 miles southwest of Chicago, Essex said.
Essex associate Jimmy Donahue represented the seller, and Essex Director Anthony Citriglia represented the buyer.
Built in 2011, the property includes six two-bedroom/two-bathroom units and 12 parking spaces. Each unit is equipped with in-unit washers and dryers, individual hot water tanks and furnaces. Other amenities include an elevator, private storage units and a basement recreation room.
“This sale highlights the continued demand for quality multifamily properties in the Chicago suburbs, particularly those offering modern amenities and low-maintenance living,” Donahue said in a press release. “It was a pleasure to work with both the seller and the buyer, and I’m excited to see how the new owners will unlock the full potential of this property.”
